1946 Where it started

The name on the pack

Cerebos has been part of South African cooking since 1946, and the job has not changed: a grain that seasons the same way from one pack to the next.

A teaspoon should season the same way every time. That is the whole job.

Consistent grain means consistent seasoning, and consistent seasoning is the difference between a dish you can repeat and one you got lucky with. It is an unglamorous kind of quality, and it is the one that matters most in a kitchen.

Cerebos holds food safety accreditation, and supplies bakeries, butcheries and food producers as well as the supermarket shelf.
